CuePilot terms of use

These terms cover your use of the CuePilot app and this website. By using CuePilot, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use CuePilot.
CuePilot is free
CuePilot is made by Suraj and costs nothing. Suraj can change it, stop updating it, or stop offering it at any time.
You bring your own AI provider
CuePilot sends your text to the AI provider you pick, with the API key you enter.
- You are responsible for your provider account, your key, and everything the provider charges you. CuePilot does not limit or track what you spend.
- You must follow your provider's terms and usage rules.
- Keep your keys safe. If you think a key has leaked, revoke it with your provider.
Check what the AI writes
AI models make mistakes. They can get facts wrong or change your meaning. Read the result before you send it or rely on it. You are responsible for the text you send, paste, or publish, including text CuePilot wrote for you.
Your Google account
CuePilot asks you to sign in with Google. Use your own account. The privacy policy says what sign-in stores and how to delete your account.
Use it lawfully
Don't use CuePilot to break the law, to break your AI provider's rules, or to harm other people. Don't try to get into CuePilot's sign-in service or other people's accounts. Suraj can close an account that does any of these.
No warranty
CuePilot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes any warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose, that it works without errors, or that it keeps your data.
CuePilot reads your selection and pastes text through macOS Accessibility and your clipboard. It can paste into the wrong place or fail to paste. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Suraj is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss from using CuePilot. This includes lost data, lost text, provider charges, and lost profits. Because CuePilot is free, Suraj's total liability is limited to zero.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the effective date at the top changes too. If you keep using CuePilot after a change, you accept the new terms.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
